Photography has always been a passion of mine. I used Brownies for a number of years (that was a film camera, kids) until my parents bought be an Argus C-3, 35 mm camera when I was a young boy. Completely manual, the camera demanded that the photographer learn lens aperture and shutter speed to achieve the proper exposure. After college, the Army and law school, I joined the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, where I was an assistant and then deputy district attorney for the next 35 years. My wife and I raised a family, and most of the photography I did was of the family and our many trips around the country. Since my retirement in late 2008, I have been able to spend more time developing a photo business. I particularly enjoy nature and landscape photography, a pursuit refreshingly removed from the courtroom. Much of my photography is done in Door County, Wisconsin, which I have loved since my youth and where we have a second home.
